Petits Enfants

Our Philosophy

Petits Enfants School provides a safe and enriching environment for children in which they can explore and grow intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. The goal of the school is to introduce the child to a formal learning environment on a developmentally appropriate level. Children are encouraged to create and achieve with a sense of accomplishment.

We Are...

a nonsecular family owned and operated childcare center that has been located in the lower level of St. Lukes Church since 1969. 

• Half and full day classes are available for most age groups.

• Large outdoor play area (2,400 sq. ft)

• For safety and security, cameras capture the daily events on 24-hour time lapse recorders.

Petits Enfants is conveniently located in the heart of Metuchen - we are  a short walk to the Metuchen train station and we offer free onsite parking for commuters!

• Computers in every classroom
• French/Spanish program
• Gym/Karate program
• Kindergarten program (starting September 2009)
  
• Large facility with low enrollment in each classroom to maximize teacher/student interaction
